Portable Appliance Testing ( PAT )

This course is aimed at all personnel inspecting and testing electrical equipment and covers the recording, interpretation of results and the labelling of equipment.

There is an opportunity for delegates to carry out testing of various electrical appliances and may bring along their own PAT tester if preferred.

A City & Guilds Certificate for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment will be awarded to those candidates who successfully complete a 1-hour multiple-choice examination.

Duration of course 2-day

On-line examinations to be taken at the end of the course

Note: This course is ideal if you have little or no experience in inspection & testing procedures as it includes 1-day practical testing of various appliances.
