17th Edition Amendments Course

The 17th Edition Amendments courses are held in Oldham ideally placed for Manchester, Salford, Greater Manchester, Stockport, Rochdale, Hyde, Ashton-Under-Lyne and all of Tameside.

In July 2011 the new BS7671: 2008 Wiring Regulations was published and incorporates the 1st Amendment, this will come into effect from January 2012. There are several changes to the regulations, which will be covered in the one day course.



  • Change from PIR to Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
  • Selection and erection of wiring systems
  • Measures against electromagnetic disturbances
  • Protection against electric shock
  • Devices for protection against overvoltage
  • Operating or maintenance gangways
  • Medical locations





    • There are no examinations to be taken the end of this training course
    An In-house certificate will be issued to each candidate who attends the course.
    All 17th Edition Amendments courses start at 8-30am finish at 4-30pm
